MODEL ANSWER:
Speaking of an interesting conversation, I would like to talk about one that I recently had with an old friend of mine, Peter. He was my primary school classmate and we hadn’t seen each other ever since our graduation. The reunion chance didn’t come to us until a recent Saturday when both of us attended a wedding ceremony. It turned out the groom was his great buddy, and the bride was my cousin. The wedding was held in a hotel’s function room, and I immediately recognized Peter when I saw him. After some conventional greetings, we started to talk about his current job, working as an itinerary planner at SaigonTourist, a highly reputable travel agency in Vietnam. At first, I had no idea what a trip itinerary planner does. However, what he told me rekindled my passion for this kind of occupation and made this short conversation extremely intriguing.
Peter told me that a travel itinerary planner was a person in charge of planning trips. As a trip planner, he often went on adventurous tours to explore the outside world and identify potential tourist destinations. He told me it was pretty cool to visit all kinds of thrilling spots while making a living. Compared to other mental or physical work that can be full of painstaking tasks or strenuous efforts, how gorgeous it is to be a backpacker, explore unknown corners of the world, and get paid for it!
This conversation was a real eye-opener for me because I had never heard of this kind of marvelous job before. I think he has a rewarding job and leads a life full of excitement and novelties. This is one of the most fascinating conversations I’ve ever had.
