- full of beans (idiom) = have a lot of energy (có nhiều năng lượng)
E.g: I was full of beans after a long sleep.
- a piece of cake (idiom) = a thing that is very easy to do (dễ dàng)
E.g: Taking tests is a piece of cake.
- as cool as a cucumber (idiom) = very calm and relaxed (điềm tĩnh, thư giãn)
E.g: Practicing meditation has helped me to be as cool as a cucumber in times of trouble.
- not your cup of tea (idiom) = not the type of thing that you like (không phải thứ bạn yêu thích)
E.g: This movie is not my cup of tea.
- make your mouth water (idiom) = if food makes your mouth water, it smells or looks so good you want to eat it immediately (ngon đến nỗi muốn ăn ngay).
E.g: The smell of the burgers on the grill made my mouth water.
- the apple of sb’s eye (idiom): If you say that someone is the apple of your eye, you mean that they are very important to you and you are extremely fond of them (người mà rất quan trọng và đc yêu thương)
E.g: He is the apple of my eye.
- smart cookie (idiom) = a clever person (một ng thông minh)
E.g: She is a smart cookie.
- work for peanuts (idiom) = work for a very small payment (làm việc nhưng đc trả ít tiền)
E.g: I used to work for peanuts.
- the salt of the earth (idiom) = a very good and honest person (người tốt lành, lương thiện)
E.g: She is the salt of the earth.
- like two peas in a pod (idiom) = exactly the same in appearance, behaviour (giống nhau về ngoại hình, cách cư xử)
E.g: They’re truly like two peas in a pod.
- be like chalk and cheese (idiom) = If two people are like chalk and cheese, they are completely different from each other (khác nhau hoàn toàn)
E.g: My brother and I are like chalk and cheese.
- take sth with a grain of salt (idiom) = to not completely believe sth that you are told, because you think it is unlikely to be true (không tin điều gì hoàn toàn)
E.g: You have to take everything she says with a grain of salt.
- be like taking candy from a baby (idiom) = to be very easy (rất dễ dàng)
E.g: This game is like taking candy from a baby.
